very desirable c. 1930's american depression era art deco style five electric light slip shade ceiling fixture likely fabricated by the riddle lighting co., toledo, oh. the original and complete fixture is comprised of cast aluminum with original polychrome enameled accents intact. the ceiling canopy and steel chain are original to the fixture. chain links can be removed to reduce the overall length (if need be). the ceiling fixture contains five original pressed amber glass slip or drop shades with deeply embossed abstract floral motifs and sunburst pattern. original rayon cloth cord wiring. salvaged from a chicago residence. the ornamental pierced metal finial is original and intact. the art deco ceiling fixture measures 18 3/4 x 40 inches.
