original vintage c. 1930's american industrial four-legged angled steel stationary factory stool fabricated by the angle steel co., otsego, mi. four bolts with large size wing nuts hold the seat in the base of the chair. adjustment of height is accomplished by removing the wing nuts and bolts, setting at proper heights and replacing the bolts. no tools are necessary to make this adjustment, which is six inches on each chair by half inch steps. the slightly flared, angled steel legs retain the original army green enameled finish. the spacious maple wood saddle seat and contoured backrest are original to the stool. the welded joint steel stretchers provided support in addition to use a footrest. seat height measures 26 inches.
