original c. 1940's vintage industrial articulating arm factory machinist lamp salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory demolished long ago. the triple-jointed tubular steel task lamp features a largely intact green paint finish. the bryant socket with on/off paddle switch or key is tightly affixed to the original parabola-shaped pressed steel reflector. the cast iron base or flange contains four pre-drilled holes for mounting against a table, wall, etc. likely fabricated by the fostoria pressed steel co., fostoria, oh.
