old vintage american industrial hand-stitched canvas fire hose storage bag salvaged from a chicago athletic club building hallyway. the bag was originally mounted against the wall near a water valve cabinet and/or standpipe that also contained a detachable fire extinguisher. the hose and bronze nozzle where tucked away in the bag that was suspended by a swing-out steel bracket. the canvas bag contains multiple quick release steel buttons for quick access to the hose line. the bag has genera surface wear and discoloration consistent with age. the fabricator is not known. bag measures approximately 21 inches x 26 inches.
