original and intact c. 1930's american vintage industrial "trouble light" with galvanized steel bulb or cage guard. the portable electric lamp was fabricated by the mcgill mfg. co., valparasio, ind. the finely turned maple wood handle has a nicely worn surface finish. the reflector and swivel hook are original to the fixture. rewired with period appropriate lamp cord.
