vintage american industrial heavy gauge folded and pressed bright orange enameled six tier metal locker designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the highly durable locker unit contains a total of 18 equally sized compartments concealed by hinged doors containing louvered vents. the original brushed aluminum number plates or plaques are lightly etched with a baked black enameled paint. the three closed end locker base panels (mounted between the angled steel legs) are original and intact. the oversized clean and compact locker unit was salvaged from a chicago public school boiler room. measures 36 x 12 x 78 inches.
