late 1940's vintage american industrial four-legged heavy gauge angled steel machine shop workbench with original rock hard maple wood tabletop. the adjustable height angled steel table base was fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. recently salvaged from a chicago boilerworks factory. riveted joint cross-bracing and horizontal stretchers provide added support and stability. the tabletop has been lightly sanded and refinished. the metal table base has a mostly uniform brushed metal finish treated with a clear coat sealant. measures five feet in length. measures 60 x 30 x 33 inches.
