original c. 1900-15 intact and fully refurbished solid oak wood mobile general store display case possibly designed and fabricated by the c. mcjohn & co., n.w. showcase mfy., 47 to 49 state street, chicago, il. the spacious interior contains the original reinforced glass shelves supported by adjustable brackets. the early 20th century oversized display case contains newly added and/or replaced rolling casters and fully functional concealed lighting. the top two plate glass panel insets are original with beveled edges. the two sliding door mounted along the backside are in great working condition. the bottom contains a newly added black felt fabric. the side glass panels and two sectional front panels are the original "wavy" glass panes mounted tightly into place. the light golden oak finish is uniform throughout. measures 71 x 23 1/2 x 37 inches.
