unique and unusual custom-built c. 1950's american industrial all-welded joint metal rod storage unit consisting of three interconnected cylindrical pipes supported by a thick steel base plate. the three compartments originally held stainless steel (ss), iron (fe) and aluminum (al) stock material. the storage unit was salvaged from a recently shuttered chicago sheet metal factory. original solid blue paint finish intact.
