structurally sound and solid four-legged c. 1940's american industrial "pollard" machine shop tool crib supervisor's stool. manufactured by the pollard mfg. co., chicago, il. the heavy gauge angled steel base is reinforced with riveted and welded joint stretchers. original solid maple wood stationary seat with naturally worn surface. the stools contains two thick bolted brass plaques with "m-6 maint. crib" lightly incised along the front side. the vintage stool retains the original "pollard green" enameled finish. measures 19 1/2 inches in height.
