c. 1920's or 1930's american antique industrial primitive galvanized steel chute or blower for use with a machine pertaining to farming or perhaps a grain elevator. the industrial freestanding blower was likely fabricated or modified in a customized manner. the chute consists of multiple riveted joint overlapping plates that flex or pivot back and forth when the handle is engaged. the cast iron or steel flange at the base was likely mounted to a machine where it would rotate in any and all directions. the farming implement contains surface wear and tear consistent with age and use. the industrial chute was discovered in a grain elevator refuse pile. the primitive piece of equipment remains intact and is structurally sound.
