c. 1920's original and fully functional american industrial adjustable height articulating joint portable yellow brass floor lamp designed and fabricated by the faries mfg. co., decatur, il. the telescoping lamp is supported by a weighted cast iron base concealed by a spun brass cover. the patented socket holder or ring and parabola-shaped rolled rim shade are comprised of wrought brass. the tubular uprights move up and down with ease. rewired with period appropriate lamp cord. mostly uniform finish throughout. measures approximately 67 inches high extended with a base circumference of 8 inches.
