original early 20th century antique american medical hospital operating room supply cabinet manufactured by the a.s. aloe co., surgical supply dept., st. louis, mo. the fully enclosed cabinet is comprised of heavy gauge "furniture" sheet steel. the cabinet door retains the original surface mount hinges with diminutive ball finials. the pivoting cabinet door clasp and matching keeper or catch remains in great working condition. the cabinet's interior contains multiple pressed steel shelves used for storing medical supplies and the like. the cabinet is supported by four fanciful cabriole style legs with a central undershelf. crazed and/or alligatored off-white enameled finish. weathered and worn. measures 20 x 16 x 55 inches.
