original and intact early 20th century antique american industrial portable factory strainer basket designed and fabricated by the union steel products co., albion, mi. the diminutive single-compartment basket was found in an old chicago tool & die factory. the basket is comprised of heavy gauge corrugated wire mesh with an old black paint finish partially intact.
