vintage american industrial heavy gauge corrugated steel wire strainer basket salvaged from an old chicago electroplating facility. the rigid cylindrical-shaped basket contain an all-welded bent solid steel rod frame with large stationary drop handle. the metal mesh is held firmly in place. the basket has been brushed and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. a larger version is available. measures 10 1/2 10 1/2 inches.
