original antique american industrial reinforced cold-rolled sheet iron cylindrical-shaped bucket salvaged from an old chicago foundry building shuttered long ago. the diminutive bucket was likely hand-crafted considering the crudities in its assemblage. the top and bottom are reinforced with riveted joint strap iron. the drop handle contains a hanger with a closed loop. the heavily oxidized finish has been lightly brushed to obtain a brighter finish and/or accentuate the distinctive surface characteristics. likely fabricated between 1900-10. measures 8 1/2 in diameter x 23 inches in height with handle extended.
