original antique american industrial all-metal hooped and slatted basket possibly fabricated by the union steel products co., albion, mi. the reinforced heavy gauge steel lightweight basket contains two bent steel opposed handles affixed to the rolled rim. the bottom is composed of slats running horizontally. the industrial basket contains a nicely aged or rustic look. likely dates to 1910-20. only one available. measures 13 1/2 inches in height x 17 inches in diameter.
