single c. 1940's american industrial trapezoidal-shaped diamond mesh steel factory machine "parts" basket designed and fabricated by lyon metal products, aurora, il. the reinforced heavy gauge all-welded joint angled basket retains the original opposed bent steel rod drop handles. the nicely aged surface patina has been lightly cleaned and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the structural integrity of the diamond steel mesh is bolstered by a multitude of solid steel rods welded to the angled still rim. a total of five matching stackable baskets are available. priced individually. the baskets were salvaged from a chicago area tool and die factory specializing in metal fabrication. measures approximately 22 x 16 x 6 1/2 inches.
