c. 1910-20 original freestanding antique american medical cold-rolled steel hospital operating room supply cabinet designed and fabricated by the frank s. betz co., hammond, ind. the upright medical supply cabinet contains highly desirable sidelights comprised of clear glass. the hinged front door retains the original cylinder lock and knob or pull. the four matching interior thick plate glass shelves with rolled edges are original to the cabinet. the modular cabinet is supported by four oversized cabriole style legs with integrated folded and pressed steel undershelf. the cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the fully enclosed medical cabinet was salvaged from a chicago area hospital. measures approximately 19 1/2 x 15 x 58 1/2 inches.
