strong and sturdy american industrial repurposed factory lathe machine base stationary side table or console with newly added thick white oak wood slab top with live edge. the industrial furniture piece contains two matching simple, yet elegantly designed utilitarian machine bases fabricated by the w.a. jones foundry & machine co., chicago, il. the bases have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the heavy oak wood slab has been completely refinished and sealed or clear-coated. the lathe machine legs were salvaged from a chicago area tool & die factory. measures 55 x 14 x 33 1/2 inches.
