remarkable oversized heavy duty american industrial cold-rolled pressed and folded steel chicago courthouse mobile finally cabinet with an older (possibly original) faux wood grain finish. the incredible antique "fire-proof" filing cabinet contains a custom-built welded base with casters for easier mobility. the heavily compartmentalized cabinet contains two sliding sections, consisting of a multi-drawer unit and a spacious bottom cabinet fronted by hinged metal doors. the original fanciful cast brass drawer pulls, placard holders and elongated oval-shaped knobs are original and in great working condition. the cabinet's "sleeve" or exterior is made from cold-rolled furniture sheet steel. the existing paint finish contains an allover crazed finish. great condition, considering age. the cabinet was designed and fabricated by the fire-proof furniture & construction co., miamisburg, oh. 47 1/2 inches x 25 inches x 57 inches.
