most unusual custom-built c. 1940's factory green enameled mobile machinist's tool cart salvaged from the roseland machine product co. factory, dolton, il. the base (formerly a grocery cart) contains lightly incised patent numbers pertaining to shopping carts designs dating to the 1940's. a long steel post supported by angled iron channels contains a large square frame once containing a wood panel used to display multiple grinding wheels. the hardened black rubber swivel and stationary casters are original and in excellent working condition.
