exceptional c. 1950's vintage american industrial "safe-t-stak" repurposed stationary table bases. the brushed folded and pressed steel double-drawer filing cabinets were fabricated by diebold inc., canton, oh. each sliding drawer contains an elongated oval-shaped bent steel rod drop handle and protruding slot for placard or label. the brushed steel cabinets contain newly added custom-built top drawers comprised of varnished hickory wood with steel drop handles. the unique pyramidal-shaped four-legged bases are tightly affixed to the underside of each cabinet. the matching industrial table bases have been thoroughly cleaned and refinished. priced for the pair.
