highly sought after original c. 1930-35 american art deco "brown-tipped" or "soleure" pattern two-light slip shade interior residential pendant ceiling fixture likely fabricated by or for the mid-west chandelier co., kansas city. the ornamental cast brass ceiling fixture retains the original bronze plated finish. the two-tone baked enameled v-shaped faceted shades are in great condition, considering age. the spun brass tapered canopy with ornamental cast bronze perforated ring is original to the fixture. the bottom decorative finial is integrated into the slip shade holder. the single socket is original and has been rewired using period appropriate braided lamp cord. ready for immediate installation. measures approximately 12 inches wide x 33 inches high. slip shades are about 10 inches.
