lot of three american art deco style vintage medical hospital examination room sundry jars fabricated by the glasco corporation, muncie, indiana (subsidiary of owens-illinois glass glass company). the clear glass cylindrical jars contain distinctive foil labels with green lettering enclosed within a diamond. the original brushed aluminum lids retain the original diminutive knob handles. glasco is perhaps best known as the maker of the world's first all-metal beverage cooler, available only to bottlers of coca-cola. the three jars, labeled bandages, gauze and cotton, were salvaged from the old cook county hospital, chicago, il. priced for the set of three.
