hard to find and highly desirable vintage american industrial factory lunch hall stationary table with original swing bracket stool seats. the early 20th century factory worker lunchroom table was salvaged from an old chicago boiler works factory undergoing demolition. the industrial table is comprised of two sections, with flanking ends containing a single swing-out seat. a cast iron cross-member or girder connects the two flanking ends or bases. the cast iron swivel mechanism is used in conjunction with steel brackets to position or lock the seat inward when not in use. the tabletop is comprised of three douglas fir wood planks affixed to the sectional cast iron base. contains a uniform black enameled finish. the industrial table was fabricated by the sani product co., chicago, il. measures 49 1/2 x 28 x 31 inches. only one available.
