all original early 20th century vintage industrial stationary workbench attributed to the sani-product co., chicago, il. the two bases contain a multitude of slots and holes for support rods and/or stretchers. both the height and length of each leg can be adjusted by sliding the overlapping components vertically or horizontally. original baked black enameled finish remains largely intact. the double-sided foot pads provide secure lagging against the floor. the tabletop is comprised of wood boards (as found) that have been lightly refinished. the vintage industrial table was salvaged from the short-lived brand brewery complex, built in 1899, and closed shortly after prohibition in 1935. the brewery buildings were later occupied by a multitude of businesses including, but not limited to, a rubber factory, cold storage facility and most recently, s & g engineering and mfg. company. measures 42 x 30 3/4 x 29 1/4 inches.
