original c. 1914 "new york illustrated" softbound booklet with several photographic views of new york city. this three-staple bound booklet contains 32 pages of black and white images of new york city as seen from various unique angles showcasing the city's dazzling architecture and culture. each picture is followed by a brief background, which includes location and insights into building construction. notable photos include a look at the stock exchange, the post office and the equitable building. there is an "old new york" introduction included with illustrations dating back to 1601, which are given "to show that new york is the fastest growing city in the world." the front cover is visibly faded and has a few watermarks throughout. the binding has tears along the spine and one interior page containing a full aerial view of the city has detached but remains in place.
