original heavily illustrated booklet with several photographic views of new york - " the wonder city." this 3 staple bound booklet contains 32 pages of black and white photographs of new york as seen from various unique angles showcasing the city's dazzling architecture and culture. each picture is followed by a brief background with includes location and insights into it's construction. notable photos include a look at the empire state building, rockefeller center and the waldorf astoria hotel. this booklet is in good condition with all pages intact. front soft cover is visibly faded and discolored and has a few pencil marks from a previous owner. the binding has tears along the head and feet and the corners of the front cover are worn down. booklet includes a "welcome to new york" letter from louis k. comstock, who at the time, was the president of the merchants' association of new york. measures 6.5 x 9.5 inches
