huge lot of original and intact 19th century antique american fanciful beveled edge rectangular-shaped mirrored glass panels salvaged from the extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. the c. 1880's thick plate glass panels were originally apart of a larger leaded gridded panel outfitting a small built-in nook. the silver nitrate coating has a nicely worn and weathered finish (e.g., black streaking) caused by moisture, etc. priced for the lot.
