nice assortment or original weathered and worn c. 1920's american antique industrial diminutive "small parts" wood drawers salvaged from the cook county hospital engineer's department, housed within the power plant building. the hand-constructed drawers were assembled with wooden crates that contained advertising from different companies. the front of each drawer contains a black painted finish with bolt and washer measurements likely taken from a standard sizing chart of the period. no two boxes are alike. the cubby hole cabinet housing the drawers was badly damaged from prolonged exposure to water in the basement. old bottle caps were used as "spacers" between drawers. priced for the lot. boxes measures approximately 7 inches x 10 inches 3 inches.
