well-built late 1920's american vintage industrial workbench cubby hole storage cabinet salvaged from a cook county hospital engineering department machine shop (housed in the non-extant power plant). the angled front cabinet contains two drop-down hinged doors with original pressed steel butterfly hinges intact. the cabinet door "cup" style pulls are original with surface wear consistent with age. the cabinet is comprised of pine wood with an old, unrestored green paint finish. the two rows of equally-sized compartments contain stationary wood dividers. overall surface wear left untouched. great weathered finish. structurally sound and stable.
