original 19th century antique american victorian era interior residential single pocket door mortise lock featuring an unusual "chain-link" pattern field pattern along the faceplate. the pocket door lock is fully functional with original "finger" lock and spring-loaded latch intact. fabricated around 1887-90 by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. measures approximately 7 1/2 x 1 x 3 1/2 inches.
