original late 1920's american arts & crafts or craftsman style varnished oak wood china cabinet, buffet or sideboard salvaged from a chicago bungalow residence. the structurally sound and sturdy oak cabinet features two opposed hinged swing-out doors with original leaded art glass panes featuring a unique interplay between flowing leafage and rigid geometric shapes. the cascading pull-out drawers retain the original faceted oversized glass or "crystal" knob pulls. the backsplash consisting primarily of a beveled french mirror was removed long ago. original varnished finish. likely fabricated by the foster-munger co., chicago, il. measures 42 1/8 x 20 1/8 x 82 inches.
