original late 1920's auditorium orchestra pit portable music stand manufactured by krauth & benninghofen manufacturers, hamilton, oh. the stand features a tilting varnished oak wood sheet music "desk" with hinged ledge. the upright support or extension rod is fully adjustable. the weighted three-legged "unbreakable" cast iron base remains intact. maximum height 55 inches. the wood slat desk measures 20 x 14 inches. thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer.
