refinished american art deco machine age freestanding factory air circulating fan base possibly fabricated by or for the general electric company, schenectady, ny. the oversized weighted cast iron base features three tapered "arms" contain embossed chevron motifs. three bolt holes allow the base to be anchored into the floor. the heavy gauge tubular steel pole is tightly affixed to the circular base. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 53 inches tall.
