very sleek and simple american made vintage medical machine age hospital examination room diminutive supply cabinet likely fabricated by the american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the heavy gauge cold-rolled steel cabinet contains a single hinged cabinet door concealing interior shelves. the cabinet is supported by two flanking bent tubular steel inverted u-shaped legs with original chrome plated finish. the four highly unique ball-shaped swivel casters with nickel-plated hoods are original and fully functional. the cabinet has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. salvaged from the radiology department at michael reese hospital. measures 26 x 13 x 21 inches.
