refinished late 19th century banded rim wrought yellow brass antique american doorknob with unusual floral motif center surrounded by beaded border. the victorina era dome-shaped doorknob contains a mostly uniform oil-rubbed metallic bronze enameled finish. the passage size doorknob was manufactured by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
