highly desirable all original and fully functional original c. 1880's antique american residential entrance and/or vestibule door mortise lock designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the latch and dead bolts are in good working condition. the baked black enameled cast iron box contains a single detachable plate to gain access to the lock's various components (e.g., springs, tumbler, hub, etc.). the "ivy" pattern cast brass facepplate remains in great shape.
