original 19th century oversized american victorian era stained glass transom window salvaged from a chicago residence built around 1881-83. the arch top window features a richly colored center, consisting of floral motifs and elaborate scrollwork accentuated with faceted jewels. clear bevels in the form of a sunburst flank the fanciful central panel. original pine wood sash frame structurally sound and sturdy. the rippled cathedral glass and clear bevels remain mostly intact, with hairline cracks and two missing panels on the left side of the window. measures 88 x 20 inches. likely fabricated by the temple art glass company, chicago, il.
