set of original and intact antique american depression-era c. 1930's art deco streamlined style "push" and "pull" cast aluminum exterior door handles. the exact fabricator is not known. the oversized door handles were salvaged from a chicago-area theater demolished long ago. the machine age handles contain deeply incised lettering flanked by straight lines accentuated with a bright red enameled finish. surface wear consistent with age. each handle measures 17 x 3 1/2 inches. priced for the pair.
