fully functional c. 1930's american industrial low-lying reinforced cold-rolled steel "firewall" cabinet designed and fabricated by the yawman & erbe mfg. co., rochester, ny. the 3-drawer freestanding cabinet contains a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. each filing card sliding drawer is equipped with a yellow brass handle and two flanking slots for labels. the newly added hardwood tabletop is comprised of mahogany with a dark stained finish. the angled steel legs are structurally sound and secure. the repurposed side table furniture piece was salvaged from an old chicago garment factory. cabinet measures approximately 18 3/4 x 26 1/4 x 26 3/4 inches.
