heavily reinforced american industrial custom built c. 1940's heavy gauge angled steel long shop table salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory located on the west side of chicago. the well-built factory workshop table contains a multitude of angled steel steel post uprights supporting a thick plate steel deck or tabletop with a uniform brushed metal finish. the stationary legs are comprised of angled steel with welded joint stretchers used for added reinforcement. plates or "shoes" for added stability. the original "machine green" paint finish has a nicely weathered look. a lightly incised "montgomery tools" brass plaque is riveted against the left edge.
