original and intact c. 1940's american vintage industrial four-legged "pollard" factory workbench heavy duty stool designed and fabricated in chicago by the pollard brothers mfg., company. the adjustable height stool contains an all-riveted joint angled steel base with detachable leg extensions containing pre-drilled holes. the solid maple wood circular seat and contoured backrest have been refinished. the heavy gauge steel base and backrest support have been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. seat height measures 24 inches.
