single antique industrial original heavy gauge steel cautionary "high voltage" polychrome porcelain enamel metal sign originating from the republic of poland. the exterior flush mount sign dates to the 1930's. the rectangular-shaped sign features an exceptional graphic depicting skull & crossbones with a superimposed red lightning bolt. the graphic conveys a clear message of death by electrocution if one were to tamper with the high voltage device and/or overhead power lines. measures 9 3/4 x 5 3/4 inches. the original porcelain enamel finish is largely intact. the black discoloration along the edge is an accumulation of grime, that in no way affects the integrity of the porcelain finish. the sign was left untouched to preserve the aged patina. measures 6 x 10 inches.
