thoroughly cleaned and refinished old american industrial mobile side table or cart salvaged from a chicago area tool & die company. the original solid steel deck was replaced with a newly added custom-built stained and sealed pine wood tabletop consisting narrow planks side glued together. the reinforced heavy gauge steel base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cast iron and steel "roll-ezy chief" double wheel factory truck casters contain fully functional swivel joints above the forks. the base plates contain lightly embossed manufacturer markings. the heavy duty truck casters were designed and patented by hugh a. currie. manufactured by the currie mfg. co., chicago, il. measures approximately 54 3/4 x 24 x 31 1/4".
