skillfully crafted repurposed antique medical bassinet side table designed and fabricated in part by the shampaine company of st. louis, mo. the custom-built detachable solid mahogany wood combination cabinet and table consists of two equally divided shallow compartments with lift-off tops comprised of solid hickory wood. the cabinet and lids contain handles. the old medical bassinet bed cart is made of all-welded joint bent tubular steel with a uniform brushed metal finish. the undershelf consists of cold-rolled furniture sheet steel. the original hardened black rubber bassick casters are in great working condition. salvaged from the old edgewater hospital. 32 x 18 x 37"
