large lot of c. 1940 american art deco style cast brass single-sided letters salvaged from michael reese hospital during its demolition in 2010. the letters were originally affixed to a large oak wood lunette located near the lobby. the letters date to 1940. the backside contain threaded rods or posts for mounting purposes. the letters retain the original patina. priced as a lot (see images).
