19th century antique american ornamental cast brass drum-shaped interior residential passage size doorknob possibly fabricated by norwich or reading. the c. 1880's doorknob contain concentric rings with a border consisting of semi-circles. nicely detailed central rosette. mostly uniform surface patina. only one available. measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
