distinctive antique american victorian era embossed "mercury" green glazed ceramic tile salvaged from a south side chicago mansion built during the late 19th century. the tile was fabricated by the minton tile works, stoke on trent, england. the tile is in good condition with allover surface crazing evident. the mortar has been removed from the backside. measures 6 by 6 inches.
